Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account and using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

This is a personal finance tracking tool designed for self-employed individuals, landlords and small businesses. It helps you track mileage, time, receipts, invoices and expenses across one or more businesses for tax and invoicing purposes, and - where you choose to connect HMRC - to prepare and submit information under Making Tax Digital (MTD). The Service does not constitute professional financial, legal or tax advice, and figures shown in the app (including tax estimates) are provided for guidance only. You remain responsible for the accuracy of any information you submit to HMRC.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, upload malicious code, or use the Service to harass or harm others.

5. Trial, Subscriptions and Cancellation

New accounts receive a free trial period as shown at registration - no card is required to start a trial. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription for one or more modules. Prices are shown in the app and may change with reasonable notice. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law. Your data is preserved for 30 days after your subscription lapses so nothing is lost while you decide.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We do not sell your data. You may export or delete your data at any time from within the app.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Complaints and Disputes

If something goes wrong, tell us first - use our complaints form so we can put it right. We acknowledge complaints within 30 days and aim to resolve them as quickly as possible. If your complaint relates to how we have handled your personal data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify active users of material changes by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Contact
